This week practice principal Simon Henley addressed the Future School Buildings conference at Aedes Architecture Forum in Berlin.
The Future School Buildings Conference and accompanying exhibition at Aedes Architecture Forum opened this week with Hackney New School, alongside the neighbouring Hackney New Primary School, one of just twelve projects chosen to exhibit.
Simon and Project Lead Noel travelled to Berlin to speak at the opening conference on the context and design of the projects, encompassing the event's larger reflection on the nature of school buildings and their place in the local environment.
A model of each project was handmade in-house by architect Raphael and are available to study at the exhibition which runs until the 8th of August.
