A photo by Nick Kane of the staircase at 100 De Beauvoir Road has been selected for the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition 2024.
This year's Architecture+ Rooms, curated by Assemble RA, focus on making and spaces for making, which form a critical part of the creative economy. Exhibits reflect on spaces for making: workspaces, studio spaces, manufacturing spaces, industrial spaces, assembly spaces.
98–100 De Beauvoir Road is a pair of connected Edwardian industrial buildings that provide additional studio space for small businesses in Hackney’s De Beauvoir Town.
The Summer Exhibition is open from 18 June to 18 August 2023.
