Tottenham Works London 2017–2017

Tottenham Works is a contemporary reinterpretation of the Victorian industrial quarter, where housing and spaces of production are integrated into a dense, animated piece of city, punctuated by open spaces and interspersed with leisure and civic uses.

The current Tottenham Hale Retail Park is dominated by parking and large retail stores. Like many outmoded retail parks, it lacks the intensity and mix of uses that characterise successful pieces of city. So, our masterplan creates a place (and focus) for the existing makers and creative industries in the Borough. Large adaptable ground floor spaces can accommodate changing patterns of use. The range and intensity of activity encouraging urban life throughout the day seven days a week.
