Michaelides Apartment London 1998–

Our ascetic client found a monumental industrial interior with an insitu concrete soffit, heavy concrete downstand beams and columns and exposed brick perimeter walls. He sought a minimal intervention that would enable him to live in the space. Two concrete walls organise the interior, concealing a shower room and store. The precast planks are laid stretcher bond in the same manner as the brickwork perimeter and the new ply floor.
