Neighbourhood consultation phase for the Truman Brewery redevelopment begins

The first round of neighbourhood consultation for the redevelopment and reuse of parts of the Truman Brewery on Brick Lane, East London has now begun.
Part of the vibrant and diverse Spitalfields, Brick Lane and Banglatown neighbourhood for over 350 years, the plans mark a significant milestone in the evolution of this historic site.
Henley Halebrown are part of a team of architects who are working across seven development plots within the Truman Brewery estate to deliver a sustainable mixed-use development with retained and new buildings, spaces for new local job and training opportunities, new public realm, and new homes including affordable homes.
The team led by development manager Grow Places and the Truman Brewery aims to preserve and enhance the unique character of the Truman Brewery.
Neighbourhood consultation is a key part of the process, providing an opportunity for the local community to actively participate in shaping the plans from inception.
