Dialogues 22 - Tim Abrahams
September 2024
On Wednesday 25 September, Henley Halebrown will host Dialogues 22 with Tim Abrahams on 'The Media We Deserve'.
The talk will explore the way in which media has fragmented, multiplied and realigned, with particular focus on how this impacts architecture.
We will explore how politics, technology and social trends have radically changed the way in which we make, publish and understand architectural publications, including podcasts! We will also look at the significance for the profession and what opportunities arise from an ongoing crisis of meaning.
Tim Abrahams has written about architecture for over 20 years. He is a Contributing Editor to Architectural Record based in New York. He is also the editor and presenter of the podcast Superurbanism and a publisher with Machine Books. He is a former Deputy Guest Editor of Domus and not only contributes to architectural publications such as the RIBA Journal but also general ones such as the Daily Telegraph, The Critic and Engelsberg Ideas.
The talk will be live streamed on Henley Halebrown's YouTube channel.
