Hackney New School at FUTURE School Buildings

June 2019

Hackney New School and Hackney New Primary School selected for Aedes Architectural Forum's FUTURE School Buildings exhibition in Berlin.

With rising population numbers in Germany forecast to continue, new school buildings, including extensions and renovations of existing school buildings, are a central tenet of educational policies and conversation within the architectural comities.

Opening 25th June, Aedes Architecture Foundation's new FUTURE School Buildings exhibition in Berlin explores European examples of contemporary school architecture. Henley Halebrown have been invited to exhibit both Hackney New School and Hackney New Primary School as part of the summer exhibit.

Principal Simon Henley will be presenting a broader seminar on the two projects alongside other international experts, investigating common strategies for future school design.
