Rochester Riverside Masterplan Rochester 2007–

The masterplan sets out a framework for the regeneration of this 34-hectare brownfield site next to the River Medway and the provision of 2,000 homes, a school, commercial office space, hotels, and A1 and A3 space. The first 7-hectare phase creates 600 homes at the southern end of the site. The masterplan and the architecture are informed by a series of ‘rules’ designed to establish a strong sense of place.
